Surindera Cycles Limited was established on 1st of April 1991 with S. Harjit Singh being the chief Promoter & Managing Director of the Company and a team of three young men S.Upinder Singh (works Director), S.Harmanjit Singh (works Director) & S.Sharanjit Singh (Export Director). All the four Directors are constantly working for the Motto of the company for Consistence in Quality & Quantity. S. Harjit Singh being chief promoter of the company has a vast experience in the line of Bicycle Business as his family is in cycle business since 1950. This company was started with an initial amount of 0.50 million U.S. $. now within 6 years the investment stands at U.S. $ 3 Million
The company is located in the heart of Ludhiana City (Punjab State, INDIA) which is known all over the world for Bicycles & it's parts. There are group of professionals to look after each aspect of production/management of the company with Mr. H.S.Braich as the General Manager (M.Sc.).
In the year 1995 the company installed a fully Computerized Glydo Electroplating plant to become the first Bicycle Parts making company to install the same after Hero Cycles. The production plants are also equipped with modern & upto date machines. The directors are constantly trying to bring most modern techniques & machinery as they think that there is no end for Quality.
The domestic market of our products is 75% and the rest is exported to Latin America, Middle East and Neighbouring Countries. The most significant buyers are T.I. Cycles of India-Madras, Hero Cycles Limited- Ldh., Avon Cycles Limited, Hamilton Industries Limited-Ambarnath, RMI Cycles Ltd., etc. Our Products are being supplied to all the major O.E. Bicycle Makers in INDIA .
The
Main products being manufactured are Bicycle CHAIN WHEEL & CRANKS in
all sizes & models, from Single to Double & Tripple C/W's. These
products are manufactured as per International Standards for Quality, Range
& Designs. Product Customization is also being done as per the specifications
of the Buyer. Our products are one of the most Cost Effective in the World.
The current turnover is U.S. $ 4.25 million, which is growing by more than
25 % each year. The target for year 97-98 is U.S. $ 5.75 million .The installed
capacity is 3.0 Lac C/W's per month and plants are running at 85 % capacity. 
We are now concentrating on export market as our products are meeting the international standards and keeping all this in view ,the installed capacity of the company will be increased from its present 3.0 Lac C/W's per month to 4.0 Lac C/W's per month. Due to its Modern plant, High production, High Quality & Cost effectiveness the company has an edge over its competitors. We are looking for trade partners all over the world.1
